Andrew Fehr – Lead Pastor

Hi, I’m Andrew. My wife Helen and I have been married since 1983, and we have four wonderful (most of the time) children. I love being a pastor. I enjoy preaching and teaching the Bible, meeting new people, and leading this great church!

After graduating from Briercrest Bible College in 1987 with a degree in Pastoral Studies, I was a truck driver for 4 years and then began my first pastorate in 1991. Since then I have had the privilege of serving in three churches – for 10½ years in Carrot River, SK, for 3 years as the Evangelism Pastor at West Portal Church in Saskatoon, and since 2005 as the church planter / pastor here at Faith River. My passion is to help people discover the freedom, joy and hope there is in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

In my spare time I enjoy canoeing, camping, and just about anything to do with the great outdoors. I also enjoy keeping and breeding tropical fish. (Okay, maybe that sounds a little ‘geeky,’ but I happen to think it’s kind of fun.) It’s also been rumored that I can occasionally be found down at Tim Horton’s with a coffee in my hand.
