In 2004, West Portal Church in Saskatoon sensed that God was leading them to expand beyond their current location. In the spring of 2005, they commissioned 80 of their members, including Pastor Andrew Fehr, to start Faith River Christian Fellowship.
In September 2005, Faith River was officially received as a member of the Saskatchewan Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. In January 2006, we purchased our present building.
From the beginning, our desire has been for Faith River to be both a gathering place for believers to worship together and a community of people that reaches out to those who have not yet discovered a relationship with Christ and his Church.
This continues to be our focus as we worship and work together in our mission: To be and make disciples of Jesus Christ by receiving, proclaiming, and sharing God's love.
